🚴‍♂️ This journey explores Vietnam’s most iconic mountain passes, diverse ethnic cultures, and local delicacies. Each day starts at 8:00 AM and ends around 4:30 PM for a relaxed pace and immersive experience.

Day 1: Hanoi – Vu Linh (220 km, Homestay)
We leave Hanoi, following the scenic Red River toward Phu Tho province. Ride through rolling hills to reach Thac Ba Lake and enjoy a relaxing boat trip. Tonight, we stay in a traditional stilt house with a local family in Vu Linh village.
Day 2: Vu Linh – Mu Cang Chai (200 km, Homestay or Hotel)
Today’s trail leads us through hidden routes to Mu Cang Chai, known for its breathtaking rice terraces, especially golden during September and October. At the top of Khau Pha Pass (one of Vietnam’s highest), you’ll witness panoramic views of the valley. Spend the night with the Thai people and enjoy their unique local dishes
Day 3: Mu Cang Chai – O Quy Ho Pass – Sapa (160 km, Hotel)
The terraced landscapes continue as we ride toward Sapa. On the way, we conquer O Quy Ho Pass – one of Vietnam’s most iconic and highest mountain passes. Sapa lies nestled in the Hoang Lien Son Range, home to Fansipan Mountain, the "Roof of Indochina". Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Explore Sapa (Hotel)
A free day to explore Sapa town, enjoy the cool climate, visit local markets, or take a cable car up to Fansipan. Optional activities include trekking to ethnic minority villages (Hmong, Dao), or relaxing with local cuisine and mountain views.
Day 5: Sapa – Bac Ha (120 km, Hotel)
Today’s ride offers dramatic mountain scenery. We stop for coffee along the Vietnam–China border before heading to Bac Ha, home to one of the most colorful and vibrant ethnic markets in northern Vietnam. Overnight in Bac Ha town.
Day 6: Bac Ha – Xin Man – Ha Giang (150 km, Homestay)
We follow a winding trail along the Chay River near the Chinese border. The ride includes stunning views of riverbanks, remote villages, and hydroelectric dams. We arrive at a Tay ethnic village about 20 km from the border, where we enjoy a homestay in a traditional wooden house.
Day 7: Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Dong Van (140 km, Hotel)
Ride through majestic limestone karst landscapes and cultural heartlands of the Tay, Red Dao, and Hmong people. Visit the ancient H’mong King’s Palace in Sa Phin village and continue into the Dong Van Karst Plateau – a UNESCO Global Geopark. Overnight in Dong Van.
Day 8: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac (100+ km, Hotel)
Conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most legendary roads in Asia, clinging to cliffs above the Nho Que River. We descend into Meo Vac and continue to the peaceful town of Bao Lac. You’ll ride along mountain passes overlooking China, just across the river.
Day. 9: Bao Lac – Ba Be Lake (130 km, Homestay)
Follow quiet trails through villages and limestone valleys to reach Ba Be National Park – home to one of the world’s largest natural freshwater lakes. Enjoy a boat trip and optional swimming. Stay overnight with a Tay family in a lakeside village and help prepare a delicious home-cooked dinner.
Day 10: Ba Be Lake – Hanoi (220 km)
Ride back to Hanoi through peaceful rural backroads. The tour ends at our MotorbikeTripsVietnam garage. We’ll arrange a taxi transfer to your hotel in the city center.
