Day 1: Hanoi – Ta Xua

We begin by following the Red River for about 50 km to Son Tay town, then continue through peaceful countryside to Thu Cuc for lunch. The final stretch includes 60 km of challenging mountain passes with stunning views as we reach the cloud-covered paradise of Ta Xua. Located at 1,500–1,800m above sea level, it’s famous for its sea of clouds and cool climate year-round.

Day 2: Ta Xua – Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai

Drive through winding river trails and see villages perched on mountaintops in the wilderness of Lao Cai Province. If you arrive in Bac Ha on Sunday, you will be able to visit the largest market in the northern highlands. They sell all kinds of livestock and everything you can imagine.
Day 3: Mu Cang Chai – O Quy Ho Pass – Sapa

Ride past endless terraced rice fields and head toward Sapa via the epic O Quy Ho Pass – Vietnam’s longest and highest mountain pass. Sapa sits at the foot of Mount Fansipan (“Roof of Indochina”) and often sees snow in winter.

Day 4: Free Day in Sapa

enjoy a rest day in Sapa. Explore the town, visit ethnic minority villages, try local food, or take the cable car to Mount Fansipan for panoramic views.
Day 5: Sapa – Bac Ha

Today’s ride includes scenic border roads. We’ll stop for coffee at a viewpoint overlooking the Vietnam–China border. Then ride through remote villages to Bac Ha, famous for its vibrant Sunday market
one of the biggest ethnic markets in the north.
Day 6: Bac Ha – Ha Giang

A stunning day riding along Vietnam’s northernmost border. Expect rice terraces, deep valleys, and homes perched along cliffs. We’ll arrive in a peaceful Tay ethnic village where you’ll enjoy a home-cooked dinner and cold beers.
Day 7: Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Dong Van

Travel through the UNESCO-listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. Meet Tay, Red Dao, and H’mong locals. Visit the H’mong King’s Palace, hidden in a scenic valley. The entire route offers rugged beauty and unforgettable landscapes.
Day 8: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac

Ride across Ma Pi Leng Pass – Vietnam’s most iconic and jaw-dropping mountain pass. We follow the river near the Chinese border, passing through remote ethnic villages before reaching the quiet town of Bao Lac.
Day 9: Bao Lac – Ban Gioc Waterfall

We head deep into the northeast to visit Ban Gioc – Vietnam’s largest and most stunning waterfall, right at the China border. After enjoying the view, we settle into a peaceful homestay in a nearby village.
Day 10: Ban Gioc – Ba Be Lake

Today we ride through small villages and jungle trails to Ba Be Lake – one of the world's 9 largest natural freshwater lakes. Enjoy a boat trip, go swimming, and ride around scenic winding roads. Stay with a Tay family where you can help cook and share a hearty local dinner.
Day 11: Ba Be Lake – Hanoi

The final day of riding. We return to Hanoi via relaxing backroads. The tour ends at our garage where we arrange a private taxi to transfer your group to the hotel.
